Nine days into January 2021 and all I can say is, Wow…..WTF?? You know that meme that was requesting us to enter 2021 quietly, without touching anything so that we don’t fuck it up? Yeah….you just could not resist, could you? My head is literally spinning from all the conspiracy theories and the information blast from the media and for the first time, I have to admit I’m confused, blown away…. you know that little purple fella? The Jeff Dunham puppet…. 🤔…..tsk, what’s his name again……Peanut!!! (Hah! You know it’s gonna be a good day, when you remember shit! Brain injury my ass!😏) Well, that little guy comes to mind with his Neeyow! straight over the head trademark.
Now the US in not my Country, and I usually, respectfully keep my opinions to myself, but I’m going to say something today. For years, all we’ve experienced were greatly influenced by US Television, sitcoms. soapies and movies. My childhood were filled with these images of rich. classy beautiful people living in luxury, happy families full of love, compassion and perfect parents & kids, strong heroes that always make the right choice, even when it’s a wrong one…everything just works out fine every time….heck, the end of the world always starts in the US or they always find out about it first. Millions always die but the hero, his lady, kids and dog always make it, after he saves the….USA or world? Even sports. Football and basketball are the games and rugby, soccer or cricket (the games of the rest of the world) are not really supported. The news…….When the rest of the world was waking up to the Corona Virus all news channels were filled with footage from Italy, Rome, Wuhan etc. and the struggles in these countries while NBC, CNN, NBC and FOX, were reporting on the impeachment trail of Trump. The BLM riots highlighted some hidden truths and made the world aware of the cracks in the US foundation…. and now, a peaceful protest that turned violent….again being covered non-stop🙄…… Ironically, South Africans are quite familiar with ‘peaceful’, violent protests (they can get a few pointers from us) but only get a 5 minute slot on our evening news….It’s also amusing how BLM gatherings were referred to as ‘riots’ but Republicans fucking up Capitol Hill was a peaceful protest that turned violent, but no worries….Trump still loves them……🤔 Neeyow!
Thanks to Facebook connecting people across the globe, I have quite a few friends in the US…from both sides: Republican & Democrat. The past couple of weeks I have learned a shitload about QAnon, Antifa and some weird scary shit about a ‘great awakening’ of sorts….WTF? This morning I read about some bible shit of 10 days of darkness where Trump was referred to as some or other saviour and that social media is going to shut down 😰 The media is full of images about guys in horns, makeup and loony costumes ransacking Capitol Hill and I read they pissed everywhere and smeared shit on the walls?? What’s that? Ohhh, those were Antifa guys? Well, that’s not very clever? Dressing up with makeup, props and posing for pictures when the objective was to blend in and look like Republicans are responsible for the vandalism…..of course it’s Antifa and not hillbillies without balls, afraid to take ownership……Neeyow!
Anyway, my sympathy to all affected by this turmoil ❤ and apologies for speaking my mind, but if you start saying shit like you are planning to shut down social media worldwide, you are yanking my nerves…..now I know why the majority flat earthers live in the US…..I hope we can interpret the threats in the same way as the word ‘world‘ in your movies….you know where the world actually stops at the borders of the USA….
